Matsushita, Sony propose HD video camera spec

TOKYO — Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. Ltd. has developed a secure digital flash card based on a full high-definition video camera. The 1080i camera complies with the advanced video-coding high-definition (AVCHD) format and provides three CCD image sensors. Following Sony's DVD and HD-based video cameras, consumers will be able to select the AVCHD video cameras with all possible recording media.
